Archiving and fonts

Hello.

I've been following this com for some time and made an animated .gif using the tutorials and advice I've found here. (Thanks for that, by the way.) Now I have a problem - I don't know where to archive it. Very beautiful collection of handwriting fonts
It contains more than 60 free fonts.
I'm sure you've seen some of them used in LJ icons
but still not sure what fonts they are..so maybe this link will help you.

text error - GIMP 2.6

I recently downloaded some fonts and while I was able install them in the main fonts folder in Windows, they aren't showing up in the GIMP text list. I checked the archives but I couldn't find the solution. Could anybody let me know why these are not showing up and if there's anyway I could fix this?

I recently lost Photoshop on my Mac, but switched it over to my family's old PC. However, all of my old fonts are on the Mac. Does anyone know how to switch the fonts from Mac to PC? (I have them on Mac's fontbook application and I've been switching files in general with a flashdrive.) I hope this is community-appropriate, as the reason this is ( Read more... )
